Amanda has been passionate about singing her whole life, yet only began her studies at age 23. Amanda studied at the Australian Institute Of Music, completing a Certificate, then Diploma of Music, majoring in Voice and Performance Studies. During her time there she taught a series of 'Introduction To Singing' group classes, covering basic vocal technique. Amanda also had the opportunity to perform in venues around Sydney, citing her performances at 'The Basement' and at Sydney's Olympic Opening Ceremony as particular favourites.

Amanda joined Vocalise as a student in 2005 and found the vocal technique to be superior to other techniques she has learned. It was exciting to feel her vocal range develop and strengthen as she learned to easily use her voice without the wear and tear that other techniques would do to her vocal chords. This inspired her to become a vocal teacher at Vocalise which she takes great pride and pleasure in. Amanda loves being a part of a team and sharing this technique with other students. She is passionate about what she does and strives to help others find their own unique sound and voice. Amanda enjoys the stage, and is a regular performer at special events and functions. She has most recently became a member of the C4 Choir who were winners of the 2010 Macarthur Choral Eisteddfod..
